• Your igloo reservation is for 1 hour 45 minutes and requires a $40 non-refundable deposit. • After booking, you’ll receive a confirmation email Reservation is for Igloo space only. Specific igloo not guaranteed, will be assigned upon arrival Additional food and beverage purchased for the evening will be at your own discretion and cost.
Cancellation Policy
Igloo Donation and Use Policy Purpose Delano Light The Night (the Organization), a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, provides private igloo spaces as a thank‑you benefit to supporters who make charitable contributions. This policy explains how payments for igloo reservations are treated for tax and recordkeeping purposes. Nature of Payment All payments to reserve an igloo are charitable contributions to the Organization. The reservation is provided as a thank‑you benefit in recognition of the donor’s support of the Organization’s mission and holiday programming. Fair Market Value and Tax Deductibility Fair Market Value (FMV) of igloo access for tax disclosure purposes is set as follows: $15.00 for a 1 hour 45 minute igloo reservation. A $40 payment for a 1 hour 45 minute igloo reservation has an FMV of $15, so the tax‑deductible portion is $25. Refunds and Cancellations All igloo‑related contributions are non‑refundable. If the Organization cancels an event or is unable to provide igloo access due to weather, safety, or other operational reasons, the Organization will notify donors and may offer an alternative reservation date or a full refund at the Organization’s discretion. No Commercial Rental Business The Organization does not operate a commercial rental business. Igloo access is a donor appreciation benefit provided to supporters and is not sold as a retail product. The FMV disclosed reflects a reasonable estimate of the value of the benefit for tax purposes.
